The third week of the Lviv Month in Wroclaw was crowned by a powerful performance by Alevtina Kakhidze (held in space of the UKRAINIAN Cross-Section exhibition, on the 21st of April).
About Shots, Power and The War / Alevtina Kakhidze
Using video documentation of her own performances, Kakhidze has drawn connection between power and war. It is a very recent re-thinking on recent order of things, surrounding the artist - the war in the Eastern part of Ukraine.
The screening presented the performances, produced by Alentina Kakhidze in the course of 10 years (since 2006 till now)
Besides a very serious and an extremely relevant performance by Alevtina Kakhidze, that day also presented two more artistic events: Maryan Pyrizhok + children painted fairy houses, and the well-known Agrafka Art Studio, represented by Romana Romanyshyn & Andriy Lesiv, young Lviv artists, illustrators and book designers hold their presentation within the literature programme.
