Monika Kuczyniecka, a known Polish animation artist, will give two master classes on plasticine animation for children, and share her secrets of plasticine animation art. Kids will have an opportunity to model their own animals or monsters, and then to create a short animated film

Monika Kuczyniecka was born in the Polish city of Bydgoszcz. She’s a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań, Multimedia Communications department. Member of the Polish Filmmakers Association. Monika Kuczyniecka is involved in stop motion animation, and her favorite ‘inspiration mediums’ are clay and plasticine. Her Tram(2007) graduation project has won a great number of honours and awards. One of the latest, the 17 minute animated film created for the Copernicus Science Centre, is an adaptation of the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale Father Knows Best (2014). Monika is also the author of acclaimed animated music videos for such artists as Czesław Śpiewa, Voo-Voo,Bajzel, Jerz Igor, DAGADANA.
