GOGODZY GANSKI is the combination of traditional Hutsul melodies from the Carpathians and reggae, ska, folk, punk and klezmer music. Their style is not restricted by genre classifications; the musicians are inspired by the global world of music and play their own perception of it. All of them have a mighty experience background. They are members of the Perkalaba, one of the most popular Ukrainian bands (already 17 years). They have performed in many European countries and participated in major festivals of Holland, Austria, Germany or France. The Perkalaba band discography includes 7 albums. Currently, the band’s cast is changed (vocalist, cimbalom and bass players are joined by the new members on percussion and clarinet) for the sake of quitenew, independent project, representing the culture of Western Ukraine in unexpected, interesting arrangements based on their tease – native Carpathian folk.
Now the band is involved in its debut album to be presented at the concert in Wroclaw.
