DAGADANA band is a fusion of jazz, electronica, Polish and Ukrainian folk music. The band uses traditional folk melodies within their own compositions, which are set to words of folk songs and contemporary poetry. The DAGADANA has performed in Austria, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Indonesia, Malaysia, Moldova, Morocco, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Sweden, United Kingdom, and Ukraine, including many famous festivals.
Their debut album Malenka (2010) was awarded the prestigious Polish Fryderyk prize and was recognized as the world music album of the year. In addition, their album Dla czego nie was nominated for the Fryderyk prize in 2011. The album has reached #8 on The Best World Music Albums of the World list in England.
Daga Gregorowicz, graduated from the Czeslaw Niemen Singers School in Poznań. Co-founder of the Degradazia duet (with Woitek Grabek). Collaboration with many music projects.
Dana Vynnytska, graduated from the Lviv National Music Academy. The member the ShokolaD, Babooshki, Afro Kolektyw bands
Miko Pospieszalski, studied double bass at the Academy of Music in Krakow. Member of Bester Quartet and other bands.
Bartosz Nazaruk, owner of numerous records within the broadest range: symphonic music, jazz, pop, and avant-garde music. Collaboration: Możdżer Enter Music Sekstet, Kayah i Transoriental Orchestra, Zakopower and many others.
