Bohdan Zadura (born in 1945) is a Polish poet, prose writer, translator and literary critic.
Mr.Zadura is the author of seven prose and 25 poetry books (the latest – Już otwarte / It’s Open, 2016 and Najlepsze lata / The Best Years, 2015). He is a poetry translator from English, Hungarian and Ukrainian. Translations of Ukrainian poetry by: Dmytro Pavlychko, Yuri Andrukhovych, Andriy Bondar, Vasyl Makhno, Serhiy Zhadan, Ostap Slyvynsky, Natalka Bilotserkivets. Anthologies: Wiersze zawsze są wolne (Wrocław, 2004, 2007) and Letters from Ukraine (2016). Longtime editor in chief of the Akcent literary magazine, Lublin; from 2004 - editor in chief of the Twórczość /Creativity monthly magazine, Warsaw. Winner of numerous awards. Lives in Warsaw.
